GCC’s six-step action plan is now in place across the county, as local action continues to slow the spread of Covid-19. The measures will support the Government’s new three-tier system, announced last week.
Whilst, thankfully, cases of Covid remain lower than many other parts of the country – they are rising. The six steps for Gloucestershire will focus on protecting our most vulnerable residents, increasing enforcement action and, importantly, a call to us all to work together, and for each other, by following the public health guidance put in place to keep us safe. This is especially important as we head into the Winter months, where demand for health and social care services is at its highest.
