As you may be aware Tewkesbury Borough Council run a Treecycle scheme every year after Christmas encouraging residents to recycle their real Christmas trees. This year the scheme is running from January the 4th until January the 19th 2020.
The scheme informs residents where they can deposit their Christmas tree at a local garden centre, however Garden Waste customers can also put their tree out with their brown bin. If it is over 6ft it will need to be cut in half.
Look out for a poster on the parish notice board (hopefully arriving soon!) about the Christmas Tree Recycling campaign, which list the locations where the trees can be deposited.
