TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATHS ALH 31 AND ALH 32 (LEIGH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984(as amended) part of Public Footpaths ALH 31 and ALH 32 as described in the Schedule below.
SCHEDULE :
Public Footpath ALH 31 from its junction with northern part of Blacksmith Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 86986/26268 extending in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 220 metres to its junction with the southern part of Blacksmith Lane at OSGR SO 86922/26076 and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B to C.Public Footpath ALH 32 from its junction with ALH 31 at OSGR SO 86923/26168 extending in a generally westerly direction for a distance of approximately 100 metres to its junction with western part of Blacksmith Lane at OSGR SO 86835/26128 and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked B to D.The closure is necessary to safeguard the public during construction works.The Order will come into force on the 12th October 2020 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpath will close on that day until 11th April 2021. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.There is no alternative route.Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works.
